Organized by Sustainable Oregon Schools Initiative and the Confederation of Oregon School Administrators, this conference focuses on sustainability in schools, particularly in the K-12 levels. Topics to be discussed include: financing sustainability efforts, building partnerships, and educating students for sustainability, among others. The event will take place on June 25, 2013 in West Linn, Oregon (Pre-conference activities will be held on June 24, 2013). Registration required.

As part of their Annual Conference and Expo, NAFSA (Association of International Educators) will host this colloquium on internationalization and sustainability. The event will bring together leaders in the field of sustainability to discuss and define the global competencies and skills we want to cultivate in students, and the ways for faculty to help students achieve this. The event will take place on May 31, 2013 
from 8:30 a.m.- 3:30 p.m. 
in St. Louis, Missouri. Registration required.

Check out the 2013 New England Campus Sustainability Forum, hosted by the Colleges of the Fenway, Boston, MA, to learn more about sustainability efforts going on at colleges and universities in New England. This year's theme is "Climate Change and New England Campuses: Impacts and Solutions."  The conference will take place on September 20, 2013. 

OPPORTUNITY FOR STUDENTS! There are mini-grants available for student-run groups at colleges and universities in New England, who are interested in proposing campus sustainability projects. Student groups at under-resourced institutions, minority-serving instutitions, as well as signatory institutions of the ACUPCC are encouraged to apply.

In this webinar, representatives from Moraine Valley Community College will share their experiences and methodologies on how to effectively teach sustainability in the classroom. The webinar will take place on April 16, 2013, at 12:30 Central Time. Registration is required.
