Campus Green Builder

Hosted by the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) and the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE), this workshop will highlight best practices, innovative partnerships and collaborative successes preparing community college students to build a green and sustainable economy. As part of the 2012 AASHE Conference, this workshop will take place on Sunday, October 14, 2012, 1:00 - 4:30pm.

The Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE) will host its annual conference and expo October 14-17 in Los Angeles, CA. The conference will feature campus tours, a Student Summit with keynote speaker Billy Parish, and workshops including "Campus Recycling & Zero Waste" and "Communicating Sustainability to Create Change." New this year, the conference will feature advanced sessions and an advanced track. The early bird registration rate is available through June 30.

The conference will offer best practices and innovations in campus operations, planning, design, curriculum, and research, presented by students, staff, and administrator in the California higher education network.

The Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International Conference is where commercial real estate professionals are gathering to find solutions to maximize value in today's challenging marketplace.

This event is presented by the Council of Energy and Resource Tribes and invites Tribal leaders, corporate executives, union leaders and government officials to discuss energy policies that help the First Tribes and the nation meet its eneryg goals.
