New York State Builders Association Research and Education Foundation - Contracts Manager

Experienced in energy efficiency program administration, residential construction building, trades or HERS rating? If so, the New York State Builders Association Research and Education Foundation (NYSBA REF) is seeking a self-motivated, goal oriented team player with excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.

Requirements: Bachelor's Degree, experience in energy efficient construction or building trades, analytical and math skills, ability to prioritize responsibilities, meet deadlines, communicate technical concepts to builders and homebuyers and work closely with staff. Will need to balance time in office and in the field. Proficiency w/windows based computers & knowledge of database design is highly desired. Reliable vehicle & clean drivers record required. INTERNSHIPS

Energy Resource Development Tribal Internship Program

Application Deadline: March 15, 2010 (early applications will be eligible for early acceptance)
Program Dates: June 1 - August 6, 2010
The U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Argonne National Laboratory, a major research center, is pleased to announce a unique summer internship program for American Indian and Native Alaska (AI/NA) college students. Potential research arenas are focused on energy resource development, both renewable and non-renewable, and environmental evaluation and analysis of potential impacts from energy resource development activities. The Department of Educational Programs (DEP) at Argonne will collaborate with the Environmental Sciences Division in providing scientific and technical mentoring for interns. The DEP has designed a residential program to host twelve undergraduates for ten weeks during the summer of 2010. A key element of the internship experience is Tribal involvement, and Argonne will recruit interns from public, private and Tribal Institutions of higher learning.
